The goal of the Midwest Xposure Hockey Tournament is to have a great evaluation and provide Xposure for players in a top competitive environment. Scouts from College, Junior and Professional Teams from across North America will be at the Midwest Xposure Hockey Tournament.
Teams will be coached by highly qualified individuals, including coaches from Junior and College teams. Only the best players will be accepted, so the competitive levels will be exceptional.
This is a joint-venture between two outstanding organizations; Shattuck St. Mary's School and the Upper Midwest High School Elite League. Shattuck St. Mary's School is known across North America for development of its championship hockey teams. The Upper Midwest High School Elite League has evolved into the top pre-junior developmental league in North America.
These two great hockey organizations have combined to create the best and most unique evaluation and Xposure in the U.S.!
The Midwest Xposure Hockey Tournament will be held Friday April 30th, May 1 & 2, 2010. The tournament starts at 8:00 a.m. on Friday April 30th, 2010 and complete by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2010.
Located on the campus of Shattuck St. Mary's School in Faribault, Minnesota, just 45 minutes South of Minneapolis, Minnesota on Interstate Highway 35, Shattuck St. Mary's features two (2) side-by-side arenas on its campus.
Each player will play five (5) games, two (2) games on Friday April 30th, two (2) games on Saturday May 1, 2010 and one (1) game on Sunday May 2, 2010.
Individual player applications will be accepted and all teams will be formed by Midwest Xposure Hockey Tournament staff.
Scouts from Junior, College and Professional Teams from across North America will be present. Complete player profiles will be given to all scouts. College and Junior level coaches will also be in attendance and on the benches. Jerseys are provided as part of the player fee.
The Midwest Xposure Hockey Tournament camp directors are Tom Ward, head coach of the top Prep Team at Shattuck St. Mary's School and John Russo, Director/Commissioner of the Upper Midwest High School Elite League.
Any player coming out of the 2009-10 season as a Midget, or High School player is eligible for participation. This includes graduating seniors. Only 240 players will be accepted. Background and experience will be reviewed by our staff and candidates will be notified of their acceptance on or before April 20, 2010.
The cost for each player is $299.00. This does not include any lodging, billiting, meals, or any other services. The $299.00 must be sent in with the application. Check, money order and credit cards will be accepted. Payment will be processed at the time of acceptance.

www.xposurehockey.com will provide a number of lodging options in the general vicinity. The Faribault, Minnesota area has many good eating establishment and plenty of shopping. We will be able to provide players with a pro shop for equipment needs and skate sharpening.
